The Labyrinth Below: Secret Cities Beneath the Cities

We live beneath your feet. Not like worms—like roots. Deep. Watching. Spreading.
Most of you piss-elegant Kindred don't realize there's more world below than above. Subways. Catacombs. Bunkers. Wartime ruins. Forgotten tunnels carved by hands that died a century ago. And where does the Nosferatu Clan nest? There. In the unremembered.
Let me give you a brief tour of the real cities:
Paris
The Empousa Labyrinth under Montparnasse connects catacombs filled with bones, but a deeper layer—sealed in World War I—is said to house the Scourge of Paris. Some say she's still there, breathing gas and prophecy.
Chicago
Beneath Union Station, the Deep Warrens span old Prohibition smuggler routes. The SchreckNet core once pulsed here, now silent… or is it?
Budapest
Tunnels left by Ottoman engineers were later colonized by Nosferatu fleeing Tremere hunters. The survivors practice something called "Flesh Silence." I don't ask.
New York
The Sewer Court, ruled by an elder called Sister Sal, a rat-faced oracle who sees through every camera in Manhattan, whether it's on or not.
The Masquerade is easier down here. There's no sunlight. No cell service. No prying eyes. Just echoes, rats, and the long memories of monsters who never got to be beautiful.
